October 2021 - January 2022
For my Interaction Design module at UCL, I created a portfolio which comprised a total of 5 projects.
Project 1 - Critical Interface Analysis of Household Induction Hobs
Utilising a user-centred design (UCD) approach, I created design alternatives for a set of problematic induction hobs located within my accommodation.
Project 2 - Problematic Website Re-design
Many of my friends within the Pokemon Go community highlighted how PvPoke.com has a frustrating layout and is often difficult to use. As such, I took it upon myself to re-design the website in accordance with Nieslen's Usability Heuristics.
Project 3 - Visual Abstract
For this project, I recreated the written abstract of Candello et al. (2019) work on the effect of audiences on the user experience with conversational interfaces in physical spaces using visual objects.
Project 4 - Voting Machine Interface Design
This project was inspired by VoxBox, a tangible public opinion apparatus that was created by Golsteijn et al. (2015). Using foam core, I created a tangible voting system aimed at 10-15 years old who engage in sporting activities (pictures 8-9).
Project 5 - Mobile App Re-Design
For my last project of this portfolio, I re-designed the mobile app 'Matchpint' as many of my fellow football fans have complained about the apps user interface (UI).
